How could we get a bunch of people in an authority type position to just go a long with it or even push it?

Insurance companies are really good at making money. They do that by denying claims, slowing down payments to providers, and by inducing providers to do things that reduce costs. So if they give a bonus to doctors who have certain patients on statins, it’s because that treatment reduces hospitalizations for MIs which are really expensive. So do you think they would pay doctors to give the Covid vax if it didn’t reduce costs by reducing hospitalizations?
