That could happen. I expect Omaha to be a 15 or 16 seed, and with that the chances of winning become slim and none. But get a play in game and who knows. It still counts.

Yeah I'm not in any way suggesting the Mavs could compete in the Big Ten. I'm saying that beyond NU's big two, the Huskers have a Summit League roster. That's what makes next year downright scary, unless there's a big portal haul.

Fidler made the leap to Michigan State but he clearly wasn't a bench player for Omaha
