So, this is difficult. Someone I know, but someone I'm not super close with, as coming to a really rough situation. A person I would describe as a distant friend, someone I worked with, someone I worked out with, someone I have socialized with, but not someone I'm super close with has come into a really really really bad situation.
This guy is 30 years old, he is someone that is one of the healthiest person I know from a life and personality and behavior standpoint that I've ever met. He is really into fitness and mountain climbing and any sort of really active Behavior as much as anybody I've ever met.
However I'm hesitant to try to claim that he's my best friend or somebody that I am really personally entangled with, but when a mutual friend told me tonight that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and he's really been
I couldn't help but think, what a tragedy.
This guy again is only 30 years old and is just starting his life, but he has a cancer that he thinks might have spread to his lungs and to his liver, but it's not yet confirmed, but his attitude is seriously defeated and someone who is facing the end of his life.
So I think what I'm asking for is to pray for the best possible outcome. I don't know what that is, honestly. If you really truly is facing a battle that is on conquerable, that is on overcomable, that is impossible to defeat, then I just want him to have the best remaining days you can possibly have.
However, if he legitimately has a chance of overcoming this and has a chance of beating it especially because of his young age, I pray for a chance that his attitude will change and he will be ready to fight this and be able to overcome it and to have a Long and Lasting and meaningful life. I hope that he can not despair, that he can appreciate that while the odds might be stacked against him, he still has a legit chance of living a long and fruitful and and Abundant Life.
So pray/think/hope for whatever you can think of or what your inspired to do. I believe it helps. I believe it can make a difference.
