In chronological order:

- Villanova beats North Carolina on a buzzer-beating three-pointer to win the national championship. It was Nova's first title in 31 years.

- Coastal Carolina beats Arizona in a winner-take-all tight game for the College World Series title - and the game was rained out originally.

- The Cavaliers overcome a 3-1 series deficit for the first time in NBA Finals history to beat the greatest regular season team of all time.

- The Cubs overcome a 3-1 series deficit to beat the Indians in extra innings for their first World Series title in 108 years.

- Clemson overcomes a 14-point deficit against an "unbeatable" Alabama team on a 25-game win streak to win the CFP championship.

- The Patriots overcome a 25-point deficit, 19 entering the fourth quarter, to beat the Falcons.

We've been truly spoiled as sports fans this last calendar year.
