Well boys, Wednesday is my birthday and my wife and I find out the gender of our soon-to-be first born child. Because I’ve been so close to many of you over the past 10 years and I was posting on this board simultaneously while conceiving our child I want to make sure this board becomes as big of part of my kid’s life as it has mine.
Never will he or she wonder what steakhouses are the best, what should be done and seen while in Vegas, and not have to waste time and energy deciding on a favorite wing sauce. When I die I want my child to look down and be proud when he or she reads the words “Original Trike Rider” on my tombstone.
If I have a son I hope he too embraces his job to post pictures of his wife on this board for thousands of strangers to view. When he trolls I hope he trolls with the same passion and dedication as his father once did. And when he gets banned, may he have the same persistence and humility to apologize to the Mods and find his way home like the prodigal son. Mostly, I hope he has the intelligence to say no when asked to step into a bar elevator.
If I have a daughter, may she not look like the hot piece of ass that her mother is and may she steer clear of all of your sons and grandsons who have bad thoughts. May she not tolerate sexual harassment just like Pen Girl in Geology class and may she never come to this board in anger after a tough loss or after being asked to sit down at Memorial Stadium.
I will be deciding which of you posters to name my child after depending on gender very soon, will create a new account for my child immediately after birth to ensure a proper shield count along with respectable post and like counts, and will be keeping you all up-to-date with a live play-by-play feed with my high resolution Iphone of the birth as we elected to do a natural home birth and will need all your help to ensure a property delivery on the kitchen table.
