Just watched the end of the Grey Cup. Wow! What a game. Toronto defeated Calgary 27-24 in a game that came down to an interception in the endzone on a very snowy and frozen night.
But the big play came with about 4 minutes to go in the game. Calgary was up 24-16 and had marched methodically down the field. On first and goal, victory seemed assured as a FG likely ends it. Then on a swing pass, their player fumbled towards the endzone where the ball was scooped up and returned 108 yards for a TD. From there, Toronto was able to prevail.
Just thinking how a play like that would be viewed if it happened in the Super Bowl or a National Championship Game. The media would be discussing that play for decades. Classic stuff.
