OT: greatest TV series ever

Dallas is probably the only series my wife and I could watch together in our 45 years of marriage. Not sure I would watch it today because I couldn’t get in to Yellowstone. It’s weird because I’m a big Costner fan, love Montana and love western movies.
Dallas was amazing because of JR and Bobby.

JR Ewing might go down as the best "bad guy" on TV and he was so perfectly played by Larry Hagman.

And Bobby was perfect as the "good son"

Yellowstone clearly stole everything from Dallas, which makes sense, why not? But after the first season or so it just kind of lost its way.

Sitting here pondering, this is a TOUGH one to narrow down. So many I loved over the years.

Justified
The Walking Dead (early seasons)
Ed
Fargo (not a fan of the newest season)

Have to go with Sopranos as the best ever.

A college friend of mine went on to be a vet in LA and took care of pets for Patrick Duffy. Said he was a super nice guy.

The stories about how much they drank when shooting Dallas are insane. Hagman earned that liver transplant.

Twilight Zone - makes your skin crawl
Star Trek (original) - for many reasons
Perry Mason - bad guy/gal always gets caught, fantastic automobiles
Batman and Wild Wild West - every costume and set used over the top color for newfangled color TV
Dallas - what man didn't want to be JR?
Breaking Bad - edge of your seat roller coaster
Banacek - campy how-done-it, classic Packard, AMC and Caddy Limo, guy bedded at least 1 woman each episode and kicked somebody's butt each episode..

Mini Series: Centennial and Band of Brothers and Lonesome Dove
TV Series: Northern Exposure and Paper Chase

Have to always include All In The Family as well as The Andy Griffith Show as classics.

Obviously all replies seem to be age related….which makes sense
