OT: Good cafes or taverns in south or central Nebraska?

Taking a pilgramage back to Nebraska with wife and kids (11 and 8) in July

Doing some backroads and wondering if anyone has suggestions for good small town cafes, restaurants or taverns on these routes and towns?

Hwy 6 from Crete west to Hastings?
Anwhere near Red Cloud?
Kearney?
Hwy 30 from Kearney to Grand Island?
Hwy 34 (Aurora/York/Seward)?

We'll be on some combination of these roads and hoping some of you may have recommendations for good spots.
