Unbeknownst to me, the wife booked a three week river cruise (Budapest to Amsterdam), for our anniversary. She arranged (behind my back) with my office gal to clear my schedule (never thought that would be possible lol).
Curious if anybody’s done a Viking river cruise, and your thoughts. Reviews are through the roof, food supposed to be amazing, and all you can drink top shelf booze…so can’t be too bad. Three weeks just seems like a hell of a long time (we’re taking three extra days in Budapest, and three extra days in Amsterdam) with 15 ports of call in between.
I’ve been to a few of these ports of call in the past, but mostly for short stops/business, if anybody has any recommendations for any of these destinations, please throw them out there. Heading out July 19th.
