If you haven't seen the movie it was damn good. His piece of shit manager played by Tom Hank's, robbed him blind and put Elvis into an early grave.
She was stunningly beautiful back in the day when she was married to Nicholas Cage.

My dad and 2 of his friends met Elvis in Omaha on Farnham Street outside his hotel in May 1956. He hung out with them for about thirty minutes. Mainly due to their 1955 Oldsmobile convertible I think. He was a car guy. He sat on the back of the car with his feet in the backseat. With a security guy standing on the sidewalk. Stood up to sign autographs if others came up with things to sign, then would sit back down. He did not want to cruise around with them though. Young me verified this story with the other purported attendees and it checked out, ha. I told my dad he was not in the movie.
It appeared fairly evident to me when looking at recent video and pictures that she probably inherited at least one of her father’s bad habits.

RIP Lisa Marie. I don't know that I would wish the life of a celebrity onto anyone. I use the word "celebrity" loosely here since her initial claim to fame was simply being the daughter of Elvis. Though the marriages to Nicholas Cage and Michael Jackson obviously kept her in the spotlight.

Sadly she had a great voice and could have had a huge career if she had wanted. Amy Winehouse was another great voice lost way too early. The list is long of artists who have succumbed to different types of substance abuse.
