I did. When I didn't have a hoop, I would grab a bucket and cut the bottom out of it and hang in on a nail on the wall. I also used to keep stats on how well I shot. I found my notebooks with all my shooting stats. I was a sharpshooter. 80% from about 7 feet away.
I really miss those days. I literally kept myself busy for years in my teens doing this.
As I got older, I bought an actual Nerf basketball hoop. And , yes, my shooting stats are still on point.
On an aside, I used my Commodore Vic20 as a scoreboard and would create graphics to look like what they showed on TV during games.
I know lots of folks probably dated, ready girly magazines or partied and such in their teens, but I sure had fun not growing up then. I miss shooting a Nerf now and then.
