Thought a fellow conspiracy theorist nut job would enjoy this Joe Rogan episode. He describes the sane people at 47:30.

Woman contracts deadliest virus after being given the wrong vaccine
A woman in Ireland was mistakenly given the wrong vaccine, resulting in a severe abscess and whole-body infection that required six months of recovery.www.dailymail.co.uk
That's a vaccine used in areas with high incidence's of TB or leprosy. It's usually given to babies in those areas. Efficacy is reported as 20-80%. It's not widely used but when maybe when you have a baby born in to an immigrant household where one or more family members are TB carriers, it might be a good idea. It's a modified live organism developed from Mycobaterium Bovis so it is capable of producing an abcess in immunocompromised people but even a killed vaccine can cause a "sterile abcess". Humans make mistakes. Clearly the Dr. or nurse F'd up.Make sense of this, please …

So a pointless shot? Am I reading 20-80% efficacy? Why??That's a vaccine used in areas with high incidence's of TB or leprosy. It's usually given to babies in those areas. Because infection with leprosy or tuberculosis is a life long deal. The drugs to treat either are toxic and they are becoming less effective. So a pointless shot? Am I reading 20-80% efficacy? Why??
No. The story lost all credibility when they called the vaccine a virus.@dinglefritz Did you listen to the podcast?
If that's how we're playing you lost all credibility a long time ago.No. The story lost all credibility when they called the vaccine a virus.
You also asked: " Make sense of this, please …"So a pointless shot? Am I reading 20-80% efficacy? Why??
I did pre med at Purdue while I interned as a pharmacist tech at Walgreens. I ended up changing majors. My sister is a doctor and my mom has been an RN since the 70s.Much of the article's technical aspects were likely covered in biology/human physiology classes. Getting to 100% in medicine when talking about populations and biology is not likely (insert death and taxes joke here).
I'm curious if you found science classes interesting in high school or college. Biology? Human Physiology? Microbiology?
I've typically found you to be one of the more reasonable posters on here, but your refusal to even hear counter evidence about vaccines is really quite something. Unfortunately, it's been way too common a reaction for way too long. Glad Covid had woken so many people up.No. The story lost all credibility when they called the vaccine a virus.

Now, a lady gets a TB shot by mistake and ends up with TB infection that took 6 months to clear. That’s what makes no sense on multiple levels. 20% efficacy for a shot that can cause many direct issues is astounding.
I just love the condescending tone. You also asked: " Make sense of this, please …"

You should at least listen for a bit starting at 47:30.

I’m not but I’ll take a lookFunny, I pictured you for a gynecologist.
NO no no, he's a proctologist that's why he's so used to dealing with aholes like us 🤣🤣🤣Funny, I pictured you for a gynecologist.
To be accurate she didn’t get “TB”. The article is extremely flawed starting with headline.I did pre med at Purdue while I interned as a pharmacist tech at Walgreens. I ended up changing majors. My sister is a doctor and my mom has been an RN since the 70s.

Sorry. Not going to watch a podcast that YOU linked with that article. It’s trash. He conflated the podcast with my article to boot
The podcast was posted by the OP. I linked an article. The OP asked you what you thought of his post.Sorry. Not going to watch a podcast that YOU linked with that article. It’s trash.
The article stated she had TB from the shot.To be accurate she didn’t get “TB”. The article is extremely flawed starting with headline.
Slightly better odds than Russian Roulette. The article stated she had TB from the shot.
What do you think of this quip?
Severe complications of the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine for TB, particularly in healthy people, are rare, with about one to 10 percent of recipients recorded in the medical literature having experienced them.
Extremely rare, err I mean 10%
Yes, she had TB bacterial infection due to medical malpractice. And also stated 10% of people who take the stupid shot have severe effectsTo be accurate she didn’t get “TB”. The article is extremely flawed starting with headline.
BCG is not TB. It’s a related bacteria. The article is factually incorrect.Yes, she had TB bacterial infection due to medical malpractice. And also stated 10% of people who take the stupid shot have severe effects
Medical malpractice? How could this happen from these heroes? How many have they killed again?Yes, she had TB bacterial infection due to medical malpractice. And also stated 10% of people who take the stupid shot have severe effects
Except the part where she tested positive for exactly thatBCG is not TB. It’s a related bacteria. The article is factually incorrect.
Thank you for the search engine postThe attenuated BCG vaccine does not use human 'TB' bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). It uses a related bacteria that elicits an immune response and helps people be protected against TB. The infection noted in the article would not be from M tuberculosis but from M bovis. The M bovis bacteria is the version found in cattle (bovine).
web bullets
- The BCG vaccine is made from a weakened (attenuated) form of the Mycobacterium bovis bacteria, which is related to the bacteria that causes TB.
- When the vaccine is given, it stimulates the body's immune system to recognize and fight off the TB bacteria.
- This stimulation helps the body's immune system to be better prepared to fight off TB infection if it occurs later in life.
- While BCG doesn't prevent TB infection, it does help protect against the development of severe disease.
Who do you go to when you’re sick? Or do you just rely on coffee enemas?Medical malpractice? How could this happen from these heroes? How many have they killed again?
Rest and fasting.Who do you go to when you’re sick? Or do you just rely on coffee enemas?
Well, I’m mindful of the quote that a physician that treats himself has a fool for a patient so I don’t treat myselfRest and fasting.
Do you run to the doctor?
BTW, The money is not in referring people who say they have been injured by vaccines to a law firm for a finders fee. The real big money is being an expert witness. I predict RFK Jr Is going to last about a year or two, then after he’s dug up a little dirt on vaccine companies with the help of his new minions-there’s always dirt somewhere on any business-he goes into the expert witness business.Medical malpractice? How could this happen from these heroes? How many have they killed again?
It’s nice to see AI to have a little humor programmed in thereWell, I’m mindful of the quote that a physician that treats himself has a fool for a patient so I don’t treat myself
But the answer to the question is no I don’t run to the doctor. I have a car. 😉
I do think it’s helpful, blood pressure, cholesterol control, etc. I’m not awful with my diet, but I’m not exactly good either.
