Was talking with a buddy earlier and this came up. What is the worst memory you have in sports?
I was about 13 and struck out as a pinch hitter in our baseball playoffs (select team somewhere in swim town, don’t remember the name). I’d finally started getting the power to hit homeruns and my coach brought me in, in the bottom of the 9th, one on, down one, and I just watched like five pitches go by. Swung on the 6th, missed, game over, season over. That sucked; quit baseball after the next year.
