I have a 23 month old little boy. He hardly says a word. He likes to play on his own a lot and won't really sit still when you want him to like for church. He communicates by pointing and likes to grab your hand and show you what he wants. He had tubes put in his ears about 6 months ago after multiple ear infections. I always blamed him not talking on not being able to hear the first 16 months of his life. Someone told my wife that maybe he has autism. I never even thought about that cuz he just seemed to be like any other little boy he just doesn't talk. He jabbers and yells when he gets excited is all. Anyone have any experience with this?
