Without many opportunities like this, the team is treating the impromptu week like a bowl game. They'll spend the latter portion of the week sight-seeing in Orlando, with scheduled trips to the beach for a morning walk through, as well as the aforementioned visit to Disney World planned for Thursday.
"Coach Healy said he wants to treat us first class and do it better than any other FCS team," freshman quarterback Jeremiah Oatsvall said after Tuesday's practice. "We're gonna go down there and really treat it like a bowl week. We're just going to relax."
The game is a win-win for both schools. UCF was able to host national guard members and help the area after the hurricane, and will play an Austin Peay group that's one of the better FCS teams in the country this season.
