Really surprised these types of comments are being made in 2017 on the platforms he has. Its either bold, stupid, ignorant , or a little of all.

I know when I was in my early 20s I absolutely would have said something like this but life and getting older and learning about other people has expanded my views. This board is obviously a more "enlightened" population than my usual social and work contact population. Most people even if they find homosexual actions "reprehensible" are polite enough to keep it to themselves. Some will not so you will have repercussions.

I kinda see it as to each their own. Doesnt hurt me in one bit and who am I to disapprove of someone's pursuit of happyness. As far as Amare goes he had to know this would not be met well by a large part of the population or he just doesnt care. Hell I read earlier he was fined 50k for slurs back in 2012. I think that question comes down to choice. Some feel its something you are born with some feel its a learned behavior or choice. I personally am not offended bythose that think its wrong with it but I also certainly think people shouldnt be denied basic rights available to the general population of heteros

When people are so overtly disagreeable with homosexuality, it just makes me wonder why they have to share their opinion with such disdain and why are they so offended by the homosexual person. Are they really threatened by this gay individual? Is it just a lack of understanding? Are they worried they are going to catch gayness like a virus? Is it just because it's different so it should be ridiculed?

Why can't you just disagree with homosexuality without being angry and insulting to the other individual? Why not just not associate with members of that community without having to justify yourself by making yourself feel better.

I have gay friends, they don't actively recruiting people like it's a cult. It's just who they are and not a threat to me or my way of life.

For the most part I think homosexual "actions" are kept private. I find it just as disturbing to see a straight couples "actions" in public.

Seeing a dude grind up on another dude at a dance club is not my cup of tea, but neither is Flat Billed Cap wearing wanna be Pimp grinding up on some girl that put on way to much makeup and too little clothes.

I am a firm believer in you are who you are, and what you do is your business not mine. I think to many people are on the opposite end of the spectrum and think they need to make everyone like them and their thoughts. If it is not what you grew up to be customary, then it is wrong. Why exactly?

The person I hate more than anyone is the "I'm better than you, and more deserving of things because my parents were rich" guy or girl. They are entitled and they bother me more then anyone else in the world's population. Hardly 95%. What consenting adults (or even two consenting adolescents) do in privacy is none of my business. It may not be my cup of tea, but it certainly isn't harmful to me. This seems to be a sentiment that is shared by many on the heterosexual side.

Just found out that one of the younger guys in one of my people groups is gay (the kid got a boyfriend, pics on FB). I am sure some if not most of the others in the group knew this, but I am only occasionally with these people. Never came up in conversation. I guess I never thought about it, maybe inherently assumed he was straight. Helluva nice kid, really bright, tons of fun to hang with in a group setting. That's the level of evolution on the issue in some areas. The kid gets to be who he is, no one is hung up about it to the point that it just isn't an issue.

I suggest you read up on subjects of this matter before you spreading your statement as fact. HIV is spread through the exchange of bodily fluids, blood included. How do you know whether Wilt used condoms or not?

Secondarily, the disease is scientifically proven to be spread based on different DNA and physical conditions. For example, heterosexual women are much more likely to be infected than heterosexual men - because of physical cases, not because of exchange of blood (e.g., anal sex).

You might learn a bit if you read this article.

This physical reason is why HIV spread rampant among gay men. Yes, I agree that promiscuous sex played a role in that, but until that time, men didn't believe they had any deathly reasons to use condoms and condoms were primarily created to stop pregnancies - not necessary among man on man sex.
