Just breaking here in Columbus ... Ohio State is losing its Corners coach, Kerry Coombs. Mike Vrabel's making him the Corners coach for the Titans. Coombs has been at OSU six years, after spending the previous 16 seasons building Cincinnati's Colerain HS into an Ohio HS power.

Great thing is - he's one of Urb's best recruiters!

Interesting additional tidbit (and I have a little inside info here as I know Vrabel pretty well - as the emcee for his 2nd & 7 Foundation Charity fundraising event for nearly 10 years) - Vrabel is NOT a fan of Meyer. He left OSU two weeks before signing day several years ago when he took the Titans job. Obviously, an assistant job in the NFL is one few college assistants would turn down ... but to do it when he did was a bit of a "screw you" to the Urbanator. So after trying to steal Ryan Day from the OSU staff (Day stayed when Meyer made him OC ... although no one here knows what that means for Kevin Wilson), he succeeds in getting Coombs.

Carry on.
