Including his last 86 straight. The fast gadget, junk drawer offenses people run today create lots of other issues.

  • Leaves your defense vulnerable and on the field too much.
  • Too nuanced and complicated.
  • Does not intimidate
  • Can't afford to miss on talent and playmakers.
The goal is to win the game, not put up video game stats. Osborne found a system, customized it for where we played and what the talent pool was.
I know folks love the ESPN Sports Center highlight hype, it is meaningless when you don't win.

Here's what we need despite the cries of folks who put the "style" of winning over actual act of winning.
  1. Bring back the power running game.
  2. Beef up our offensive line - Real Bad Ass Road Graders!
  3. Brutalize the defense and pound them into pain and submission
  4. Shorten the game with ball control.
  5. Open up play action for easy pitch and catch.
  6. Go back to an attacking defensive plan.
A finesse and style point offense just won't work.
Let's be unique and be a problem for the Big Ten. Let them prepare for something different. Something ONLY WE can do and master.

Run the FFFFing Ball!
