I went to the range this morning to get a read on my M1 Garand. It fired like I expected but there was a competition about to start on the 100 yard range so I hurried my shots. And you can tell cause I was to the left and low (pulling the trigger instead of squeezing... lefty). But I digress... I decided to put my registration and insurance cards in a envelope and above my visor. And I put my driver's license in with my laminated card holder necklace for the range. Anytime I take my holstered 1911 with me I will be following my newly instated protocol for myself. Everything an officer will need if I am stopped will be at his disposal. Saftey for everyone is paramount.
