One thing I will never blame on Moos

The firing of Mike Riley. We all hope he finds the right hire but firing Riley and the hiring of the next coach are two separate matters. Riley just has to go. I'm sure if the next coach fails that there will be people who said Moos screwed up by letting Riley go but that is absolutely not the case. I can't even imagine trying to win 2 games in the B1G next year with that schedule.

Riley essentially fired himself. He performed so poorly that no case can be made for retaining him. Arguably, there was a strong case for not hiring him in the first place, but too late now.

Dismissing this staff is a formality.
