I think we can all agree that the OL transition and how much they improve is one of the key parts for success in 2018. Researching some of Chip and Scotts running plays and how they teach the offensive line, I think it will be much easier for them to make improvements and use their raw talents.
Here is an excerpt from a whitepaper by Chip Kelly from a coaching clinic on the "inside-zone":
"When we coach our offensive line, we do not get into over, under, or stack fronts. You spend all your time in meetings trying to explain all the defensive fronts."
"As long as our offensive linemen can count, they do not need to know if it's an over or under front - our rules will take care of that.
"If the offensive line can count to six, you have a shot to run the play."
