Michigan' Sts field condition has helped negate some of their speed advantage AND OSU IS ACTUALLY GETTING CALLED FOR HOLDING. The little bit I've watched of their game today the penalties have cost them some big plays. Some weeks the Buckeyes look like Alabama is the only team in the country that belongs on the same field with them. Then they'll go out and just look mediocre and disinterested. Hard team to figure out.
What is this "holding" of which you speak? Is it against the rules in Big Ten play?Michigan's field condition has helped negate some of their speed advantage AND OSU IS ACTUALLY GETTING CALLED FOR HOLDING. The little bit I've watched of their game today the penalties have cost them some big plays.
Nothing to lose? Or maybe just stupid.Well there's a head-scratcher. Why would MSU go for two there?
Agree. If you're inside a minute left, I can see it. But why not tie the game, put the pressure on OSU, and try to get the ball back? Made no sense to me.Well DAntonio justed screwed the pooch going for 2 when they could have tied the game with a PAT....stupid.

It would have kept the score closer in Columbus for sure. This crew must not have got the message that OSU is still in the running for the playoff.Back to back holding calls....can we have this crew?
Of course it looks brilliant if you make it, but I thought going for two made things too easy for Ohio State. Instead of genuinely trying to score in those last four minutes, all they really had to do was pick up a couple of first downs and punt it deep. I'd rather tie the game and put some pressure on OSU.Thought process was that his defense was playing well and going for 2 gave his squad 2 chances to win. Once in the PAT one on the fg try after holding Ohio state. Not saying it was the right call but much better to try it with 4 minutes left than with 1 minute left.
