OSU is a VERY sloppy team with bad special teams and will be missing a starting corner for the first half of the game.

Could be closer than we think and OSU still covers.
Well, home field gives the Huskers about 3 points...but having Mediocre Mike as your coach gives the other team an automatic 14 points...so yeah, this seems correct.
I would be shocked if Ohio State doesn't win by 21 or more. I'm thinking Ohio State scores into the 50's and Nebraska scores into the high teens.
Something similar to a 55-19 type of game.
Ohio State's defense is not as good as Wisconsin's, but Ohio State has averaged 50+ points the last three games. There is a high chance we lose something like 51-27.
Except tOSU wants to get a Playoff birth as a 1 loss team.

Urban Meyer is going to do everything in his power to pound Nebraska into the ground this weekend to make a statement. He doesn’t have a problem with running up the score on anyone.
I believe Nebraska is very fragile mentally and physically after this game against Wisconsin. This game could get ugly early and fans could leave in droves like they did for the Oklahoma State game in 2007.
I hope this doesn’t happen especially on national television but it is a possibility.

Question is, what can he do to keep it from 69-0? If I'm Mike Riley l do the following to keep the game respectable: remove Langs from play calling and make the calls myself, bring Diaco down to the field for this game and have him froth at the mouth at the D the entire game, and have Parella rotate even more bodies to keep them fresh. A respectable showing in both halves and I will be OK with the outcome.

He did that against Michigan State. The boneheaded losses have been plenty. Only a bad coach throws the ball all game long against one of the nation's worst rushing defenses. Guess which bad coach did that? SMH

I took OSU in this game over the summer...at -14.5. I hope NU wins but if not...I hope that OSU covers.
I have to agree. It is not going to be pretty. The stadium will be empty by halftime. I love the Huskers but I'm realistic. Of the two game stretch, the Wisconsin game was the game that we would more likely have a chance at winning and looked how we fell apart in the 4th Quarter.
This week against OSU is not even going to be close. Our program is really hurting.
Is Nebraska average? Seems so. Is Ohio State a top 10 team? Yep. Should Ohio State win? Of course.
But the people willing to throw in the towel calling for 50+ to 0 are sad in my opinion.
This game will tell a lot about the character of Nebraska's team. But I think we have some good character and the team will play hard.
Oklahoma should have beaten Iowa State by 40 but Iowa State decided to show up and compete.

Look like rain is in the forcast for Lincoln on Saturday. Could be somewhat of a equalizer in the game. I'll take Nebraska at +25
Tough to stay positive right now. While I admit we're not very good, I think our guys battle. Urb won't let off the gas (for numerous reasons: his ego, a playoff spot, recruiting). Understatement but we could've really used KJJ and McQuitty this year...

At home I don't think it has been since 1957. In 2004 Nebraska was a 30 point dog at #2 Oklahoma. Callahan covered with a last minute field goal 3-30.
Can anyone ciite a game in the last three years where you said or heard someone else say, “good game plan by the huskers, they really took advantage of that teams weakness.”? I cannot remember once saying or hearing that type of comment. No team, even tOSU, is unbeatable, but I have zero confidence these coaches will come with a game plan that could work. JT is not a great passer, any chance those getting paid can figure out a way to take advantage of that? If ISU can beat OU by taking advantage of their weak secondary maybe MR and Diaco can find a weakness with tOSU. Not likely I know.
UCLA bowl game. Best coaching done by this staff, or any Nebraska staff, for awhile.
Urban Meyer has said he didn't like how NU handled Solich, especially since he was an Ohio guy. If he gets the chance, he's gonna run it up.
