Oh no, Colorado didn't get many bowl gifts!

It would seem that there are a few flaws still to work out in the system that Colorado, and those who will do whatever they’re told to support it have created.

I'm all for shitting on Colorado but the bowl game gifts are from the Bowl Game host and not the University. Nebraska didn't get the players any gifts either.
Hell it’s always been that way. Players may get extra money for eating by the university but that is all.

Back in the 1980’s players were given money for necessities I personally knew some..

Whitlock seems to be reaching for explanations as to why Colorado got beat.

Here's one: BYU is the better team, on both sides of the ball.
They do , Whitlock is coming up with his excuses for his boy prime on why they lost .

Not sure how much of a fan of Deion Whitlock is… I think he’s painting Colorado in as unfavorable light as he can to show how off the rails things are, not providing excuses for why they lost.

Whitlock not reaching for excuses for Colorado, he hates Prime and all he stands for.
I'm not suggesting Whitlock is a Deion supporter. He's looking for a juicy narrative related to the Alamo Bowl, and I just don't think there is one. BYU has better overall talent, and is better-coached. That's why they won.

CU had a couple of chances to score early in the game and blew them, then the game went completely off the rails. I don't think gift bags or strip clubs had anything to do with it.

But doesn't everyone know Hunter has a 4.0? In anthropology. So that means Deion is an outstanding father and mentor to his players. Looks to me like Hunter is focused enough to stay out of the nonsense that is CU football.

Heck of an ambassador. Supporting the arts I guess
Other thread got locked. You think stores/building should provide a spot for your gun because guns are legal. Do you also feel they should provide a kennel for a dog or cat? They are also legal but not allowed in stores. How about a place to keep a horse? They are also legal.

Nah..Whitlock wasn't looking for that. It's not his MO. Whitlock is throwing shade on Prime and anything he does.

Whitlocks new job isn't to report on games etc. He basically talks shit about popular sports figures (generally black ones) that he doesn't like and paints anything they do in a bad light. It kinda funny that he's become that guy after all these years.

I don’t disagree with you. That’s what I was suggesting when I said Whitlock was searching for a juicy narrative.

Yep . I was impressed with his interview after our game. Seems like a good kid . Talks trash on the field ( part of game ) But he gets bundled in with Deion and his punk kids behavior and beliefs.

It's his new grift. He saw what Outkick was doing and tried to get in on it. A black man that consistently criticizes black athletes is a lane that will always get amplification and it's his lane. Read the replies to most of his tweets, pretty brutal

Absolutely I agree 100%. It's what he's morphed into and tried to reinvent himself. Like I said earlier it's sad to me.

Maybe they've changed and give schools x amount of $and let them buy their own gifts. Except sCUm bought insurance policies instead
This is probably the correct answer. At some point Deion sent out an email begging for a few sheckles to put together gift bags of a T-shirt and hat, and maybe a small bag of potato chips if there was enough left over
