Give uni credit. They came in. Played clean football. Attacked us like no one else has this year. And forced us to beat them. They never had a chance but they didn’t let us run away with it.
Nice to have speed but you can’t have receivers who aren’t strong enough to make that catch of a perfect throw.
I agree. Incessant chatter about everything except the game. So annoying.

I’m all for getting three “easy” home games each year but would prefer we not schedule those “easy” games with MVFC teams.😀

Yep, McGuire was a nepotism hire. He had zero experience coaching receivers, and it shows
In all 3 games played, we have scored 2 touchdowns in the second half vs 11 in the first half.
We are also 3-0 and all games have been over by half time.
What I'm mostly taking from this game is mad respect for UNI as a program. They've done a GREAT job of clogging up our defenders from getting clean shots on UNI runners. Great coaching and great discipline.
seems like a lot of people on here have never seen a perfect pass perfectly defended. both players fall to the ground at the same time. as soon as the offensive player knee touches and both players are holding the ball the play is over.
Fair point. Hopefully we keep getting up by a few scores by halftime, because the completion is adjusting better and the cupcakes are done.
I really can’t believe is how many people are complaining. This team is probably our best in a decade. We’ve easily controlled all 3 games with no threat beyond the end of the second quarter. Yet everyone bitches about second half performance. Yeah, we haven’t played as well after the half. Yeah, it could hurt us down the line. But it also could just be us letting off the gas. This staff doesn’t seem to be interested in blowing people out for the sake of blowing people out. Which may be fine. But man, it’s nice to just be where we are right now even if we have room for improvement. Or qAre people so used to bitching that tHeyll bitch now matter what?
Not gonna apologize for a win. This team is trending in the right direction.

I just laugh at these game threads, like to come read after the game. It's like you guys think we are a top 5 team the last ten years.
Yep. Got lots to work on, but sure beats the heck out of losing every game by 3 points.
Too much success from Northern on the zone read. Gotta fix that up. Friday should be fun. But we're 3-0, so I'm happy.
