It’s so crazy, that it just might work
punter was really good on ThursI think we should just punt on 1st down. Pin them deep and force themto drive 90+ yard the whole first half. Then we are fresh with tons of energy at the end of the game. Let’s see you outcoach that plan 5-Toe Sanders
Exactlypunter was really good on Thurs
haven't seen much talk about that, but he played well
To be accurate, he didn't specify playmakers of which team.Good plan. Way better than Thursday night’s throw it to Minnesota game plan.
Don Malarkey! Great character, fantastic series.
We all know, IF you want the ball in the hands of the playmakers, the defense can't stop that from happening.I'm sure there are several husker fans out there that truly believe he was not calling plays that would get the ball in the hands of playmakers.
100% rightWe all know, IF you want the ball in the hands of the playmakers, the defense can't stop that from happening.
It depends on your level of committment to make that happen.
If JOHNNY is the head coach, and I'm the OC, and he says he wants that ball in Rahmir's hands 10 times this game, that ball will somehow wind up in Rahmir's hands a minimum of 10 times.
Nothing the defense can do about it.
Basically everybody except Sims and Grant played well enough to win. When you get that many touches you can’t screw up.punter was really good on Thurs
haven't seen much talk about that, but he played well
And if the dog wouldn't have stopped to shit, he would have caught the big rabbit.Crazy that after one game everyone is at Satterfieds throat. The game plan may have been conservation but it was good enough to win that game. Execution was the main issue.. If Sims/ Grant take care of the ball and penalties in the Red zone by Piper and TE we win easily.
I see you!!!And if the dog wouldn't have stopped to shit, he would have caught the big rabbit.
Well he has 11 more games to prove you right 👍🏽.And if the dog wouldn't have stopped to shit, he would have caught the big rabbit.
our OL would be better if we played 4 guys instead of trotting corcoran out there againBasically everybody except Sims and Grant played well enough to win. When you get that many touches you can’t screw up.

In my opinion, here is the ranking of the quality of the OL:our OL would be better if we played 4 guys instead of trotting corcoran out there again
3-5 wouldn't start on probably 100 out of 130 D1 teamsIn my opinion, here is the ranking of the quality of the OL:
1. Nouilli
2. Scott
3. Benhart
4. Piper
5. Corcoran
Ouch.great post
might be a dumb question, so bear with me: who's in charge of getting the offense to execute?
Reverses, have the receiver take one step back for a quick pass. No defense is gonna stop a committed plan.Planning to give the ball to a RB is one thing, getting it to a WR is another. It takes two to tango in that situation.
I get that but week one, new system, new QB, bad OL and no Trey Palmer. Plus trying to change the mindset of losers is a huge task. N didn't play creampuff U like most of the country to iron those things out. That's why I'm giving him a pass until further notice.. If it looks the same from here on out...okgreat post

I've never had any success calling a game with the notion that I needed to have any one player touched the ball a certain number of times. We all know, IF you want the ball in the hands of the playmakers, the defense can't stop that from happening.

I, too, expect to play well on SaturdayI get that but week one, new system, new QB, bad OL and no Trey Palmer. Plus trying to change the mindset of losers is a huge task. Y'all can stay mad if you want but I'm looking forward to Saturday expecting improvements.
Benhart is a total bust. Bench his ass already. In my opinion, here is the ranking of the quality of the OL:
1. Nouilli
2. Scott
3. Benhart
4. Piper
5. Corcoran

Precisely.Being that Colorado looked inept at stopping the run, I'd love to see some power football... All off season we heard about the fullback and Bonner being a "multi tool" if you will... It was interesting to see Haarberg at the H-back slipping out into the flat instead... Let's get some guards and tackles pulling and leading through on some power and some counter trey... Get out on the perimeter and see how physical Hunter is and and see if he can play 100 snaps having to come up in run support... A little trap up the middle... Let's be the physical team we've been hearing the coaches talking about wanting to be....
How many of the plays were meant to do what he’s saying here and the QB didn’t follow the plan?great post

Who’s the quarterbacks coach? How many of the plays were meant to do what he’s saying here and the QB didn’t follow the plan?
I suppose he could have benched him but he was such a threat with his running.
That's the starting OL we have Pennsy. I'd say 3-4-5 are all total busts.Benhart is a total bust. Bench his ass already.
If the guys behind him are worse than he is then that is pathetic. Because he is flat-out awful. That's the starting OL we have Pennsy. I'd say 3-4-5 are all total busts.
