Why does the name Graham Harrell keep popping up on RSS’ers dream list of new hires?
Do you really think we are built for an air raid scheme? Our starting QB was pressured 50% of all his passing attempts and some of you think “maybe we should air it out more”. Lol.
We are built for a spread option attack that has tried to lean more on the power attack. That’s why we brought in more TEs. More like an Iowa state scheme.
If we are smart we continue down that path and look to hire OCs with that style. We need to be power spread since we are somewhat built for that.
I used to think we need to be more like Wisconsin and Iowa but then Damon benning made a comment about how neither of those can give Ohio state fits. Or even Michigan. The teams that do are Penn State, Purdue, and Minnesota. Spread power attacks.
We just need to continue down that path with a more polished play caller and a stellar Oline coach.
