It should be announced soon that Tiziana Baumrukova, a 5-9 sophomore setter in 2018, transfers from Miami Dade College and a native of Prague, Czech Republic. She replaces Hunter Atherton who would’ve been a sophomore at Nebraska in 2018. Perfect in substituting with a setter in the same grade class. Some of her accomplishments:
Best setter in Czech Championship U15 and U19
Captain of Czech National Team U17 and U19
Won 2017 NJCAA national championship
U= Under
NJCAA= National Junior College Athletic Association

Nebraska keeps humming along at record pace for NU volleyball. Tiziana was chosen over two highly regarded other possible transfers. I don’t know who the other two candidates were. If Tiziana and Nicklin Hames appear equal in ability and play, MAYBE, Nebraska tries a 6-2. So much talent now and into the future. A 6-2 isn’t preferable but would utilize more of the roster at the pins. IMO
