Weird game so far. Up 19 at half but had about a 5:00 minute scoreless stretch because of sloppy passing leading to TOs. Still score 54 points. Probably +/- 10 made 3 pointers.
When our offense loses rhythm and flow and we start making dumb decisions leading to turnovers I would love to see Hoiberg in at point. He plays smart and could it back under control and help us avoid these stretches
I’m giddy with the way the shooting has improved from the first couple games. Small crowd and they’re toying with this team. Bound to be a few letdown stretches here and there.
Essegian has to be getting 30 min a game for us. Just have to have his shooting out there.
Playing with a lot more confidence than last year. Change of scenery seems to be serving him well.
Griffiths looks like he has never shot a basketball before now that he wears a Nebraska uniform.

Got poked in the eye very early in the game. Saw some swelling when he came back from locker room.
The Huskers definitely looked like a team that had just beaten a big in-state rival and were now playing an overmatched opponent on a holiday eve. Fortunately the Huskers are good enough to come out of a game like that with a W.

Putting up 96 points without Gary and Berke for most of the game...I'l take it. But you could definitely notice how the defensive intensity went down when Gary went out.
Is Nick Janowski redshirting? If not I'm surprised he hasn't played at all yet this season. With Griffiths struggling, why not give Janowski some minutes?
