I think most Husker fans deep down know that we have to recruit at a super high level to win conf and playoff games because the evidence is overwhelming. However there is an inferiority complex associated with it that makes them not want to believe recruiting matters... because admitting that recruiting matters combined with us never recruiting top 5-10 or 15 at worst means NU will never make promised land again
I personally disagree. I think if Frost staff and players start showing the world that they overachieve on game day and we start winning more than expected, the better classes will follow
