Some interesting tidbits, which comes from people very close to the program, i.e. Former players:
1. NU is clearly underrated. They played a great series. Did not expect NU to be that good regardless of being formerly part of the Big xii.
2. Augie could be the next one out. Like Mack & Barnes he may be shown the door. NU series opened their eyes.
3. Very complimentary of NU baseball. Pitching, players, etc.
4. They loved Erstad. Very impressed with his coaching as well as the players.
Compared the coaching and players to the Van Horn years. One person said " all is very quiet in Austin after the NU series."
