Meant to post this Sunday morning, as we’re all on to Illinois, but his post-game press conference was slightly weird. Was convinced that if they didn’t have the penalties they did they could have won the game. They ran the ball well but our depth and over all talent was far superior than UNI’s obviously. Didn’t sound disrespectful or anything as much as he sounded delusional. Was asked about Raiola and basically said he wasn’t bad but “our running back that was catching the ball out of the backfield hurt them the most.” Talked about 3-4 plays that could have gone differently including DR avoiding the sack and hitting Neyor for the deep ball.
Probably a sign of a winning program, but wasn’t an ounce of humility in that press conference. Watching the presser you would assume it was a 7 point game. Oh well.
