Nobody Does Drama Like the NBA

The 76ers haven’t even made the Finals, yet alone the Eastern Conference Finals with Embid… yet, the Phillies have played in the WS and the Eagles have won a Super Bowl. The 76ers are basically the Flyers. 🗑️ Not sure what he’s done for the city to exempt him from working, while gathering a paycheck.

Exactly - I’m sure that will play reaaal well to their fan base.

the amount of rest in the nba is embarrassing. Would hate to pay a ton for tickets in advance to see some players and then they rest. NBA has allowed it and you reap what you sow.
There's an obvious solution to that and it's to have teams notify in advance if star players are going to sit for rest. The NBA is one the more physically demanding sports out there, so I see the need for rest. But things could certainly be done in a more intelligent way.

What makes it even more amusing to me is Philly prides itself as a tough, working class city.

The first class private travel, the elite medical care, the hotels that are first class and the “underwhelming physicality level of play” this man should be seen as the visionary that he is. He will make more money per game actually played than anyone in nba history. A true visionary of how the modern man of the league will be going forward.

How did they ever do it in the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s?
