No mention of the double pass play...

This is silly. You act as if once we're in the red zone any throw Tommy makes will be a bad one. Three of his TD passes are in the red zone, all inside the 10 yard line I think.

Some of you just don't want to admit that, at least so far, Tommy had improved. Through three games, how many ints has Tommy thrown? Let me help you out... 1 int.

So what that means is that if Langsdorf has Tommy drop back in the red zone, you can still watch. It isn't an automatic turnover...

You and others can say things like "he's gotta remember who's playing QB for us," but this is a different Tommy. at least so far.
You're a fool. 1 interception yes, stupid mistakes where he didn't get burned, a few. We're fortunate the other team didn't cash in on his mistakes. What about the lateral last week? He still can't throw that type of pass. Stupid for calling that play. Many of his tosses so far have been off the mark and his receivers saved him with nices catches.

Improved? I don't know about that. Don't act like I root against him because I'd never do that, I'm a Husker. I don't know about him being a different Tommy. We throw it a lot less now.

I'm a fool? Right... good call on the one stupid throw against Oregon. Yeah, he had some bad passes, but last I checked, even the pros have some bad passes. He Has thrown one interception in 77 passes. You know what that ratio is? Let me help you out... 1 for 77. Not bad.

Last year through three games he was throwing interceptions at a rate of 1 every 29 passes! Quit being a FOOL and acknowledge he is way better than he was a year ago! And don't even say yeah but what about the near misses? Cuz you know what? He had near misses last year too that would have made 1 in 29 look good.

And for good measure? Last year after 3 games he had 4 tds... this year? 7... Don't bring hat crap to the table if you don't have a leg to stand on.

Cant wait to hear why I'm a fool now...

I'm sorry let me retract. I'm sorry for calling you a fool. You made a foolish statement. Way better? Uh.....NO!!!!!

Really? either admit he's much improved your bias against Tommy is clear. Stats don't lie, and the stats I showed aren't even close to suggest otherwise. Come with your own stats if you want.

But just to say I made a foolish statement and Tommy isn't way better? Wow, man, way to bring it. You've really put me in my place.

Not here to put you in your place. Just telling you you're wrong stat man.

So after 4 games, Tommy Armstrong, who hasn't improved much if at all, has 1 int through 106 pass attempts. 8 tds as well.

After 4 games last year Armstrong had 5 ints through 151 passes. He did have 11 tds through 4 games... my mistake on tds in earlier post. His int per pass attempts dropped to 30.2 per attempt.

Just thought I'd put that out there.
