Just read that Athlon Sports (I think?) projects us going to the Outback Bowl to play LSU. I think that sounds pretty flippin' sweet, but as all of us know by now, let's see how the season goes.

Second, I'm seeing even more CB predictions indicating Nick Henrich choosing Nebraska. That is phenomenal news, especially if it also helps us land Chris Hickman as well! That means Frost will have picked up the Top 5 players in the state for the 2019 cycle (and it was a pretty darn good crop of players, I might add!).

For 2020, who are the real standout local kids? I know about Zavier Betts at Bellevue West (an extremely high-rated 4 star WR), but who are the other really solid ones?

Jevyon Ducker, RB from Bellevue West. Purdue has offered.
Xavier Watts, WR from Omaha Burke. Iowa State, Purdue, and Minnesota have offered.
Miko Maessner, athlete from Kearney. Iowa State has offered
Isaac Gifford (Luke's brother), safety from Lincoln SE. Oregon State has offered.

Wow, I had no idea Zavier Betts was rated so highly. If he committed to Nebraska, he'd rank as the #13 highest prospect of all-time (in the modern recruiting era).

Yup! And he's 6'2". I'd say pick up his pledge ASAP, as that is an extremely highly rated WR recriut and would likely be the highest in the class in 2020.
