Don't get to post much (school teacher)..I know...I know... toss in a movie and gaze at the "Scrolls". Anyways I was at my son's swim meet in Orange County and I walked by a woman wearing a Husker jersey with O'Brien on the back (Patrick's mom)...her daughter was swimming...Anyways, I introduced myself and we talked Husker football for about 20 minutes....great conversation..she was super nice. BTW..."Patrick loves it at NU" "People/fans are great"
I mentioned the recruiting process and she immediately was blown away by Mike Riley and how genuine he was (along with Danny Langsdorf) during her son's recruitment. "It was a slam dunk" once they met Riley and visited Lincoln. She mentioned also how the freshman class seems to have a great rapport with each other..O'Brien is super excited about the freshman offensive line that is redshirting and says he's impressed with Collin Miller.
We talked about the season as well....but overall ...not surprisingly....Riley is what we need. With families coming on recruiting trips this can only help our recruiting....#GBR
