Just throwing this out there. Do we have any reason to believe that next year's defense will be improved? If so, is it more talented personnel, experience or want to?

On DL, there don't seem to be major upgrades, unless the freshman step in and contribute at a level that we shouldn't presume they will. This means we shouldn't expect a better pass rush, right?
ILB, may be better based on experience. OLB seems status quo, which ain't good news. Domann remains in nickel or hybrid role. CB has to be viewed as a step back with two seniors lost. Young corners are promising, but that's a tough spot. Safety is deep and should be better.

I'm sure I'll miss a few, but here's how it shapes up based on this year's roster and redshirts:

DE: Deontre Thomas, Rogers,
NG: Daniels, J. Green
DE: Stille, Robinson, Wildeman
OLB: Domann, Nelson, ?
OLB: Tannor, Alston?, Graham?
ILB: Miller, Reimer, Hannah
ILB: Honas, Johnson, Henrich
CB: Bootle, Newsome, Butler
CB: Clark, Wright
S: Deontai Williams, Stalbird, Nola-Gates
S: Dismuke, Taylor-Britt, Farmer
