Being reported that QB Brian Sullivan is out for the season with a severe ankle injury..
Have no idea how McNamara is on his concussion protocol..

Believe their redshirt Freshman QB Marco Lainez is also done for the season..They may not throw another pass all year
We won't.So, it sounds like we should definitely beat Iowa this year.
They’ll pull a short, skinny freshman accounting major with pop bottle glasses outta the stands, and we’ll make him look like a Heisman candidate. We won't.
Depends on if McNamara plays the next 2 weeks..So, it sounds like we should definitely beat Iowa this year.
100%. They will just constantly go after Gifford and Hartzog. They’ll pull a short, skinny freshman accounting major with pop bottle glasses outta the stands, and we’ll make him look like a Heisman candidate.
Oh, but we have one of the best defensive coordinators in the country.Whoever Iowa starts against us at QB will have a career game and look like the second coming of Tom Brady.
Truthfully, I 100% do not believe we will beat Iowa even if Ferentz himself lines up at QB. I'm not trying to be funny. Nothing is funny about our football program.I get we all want to be funny and resign to the 'woe is me' mindset, but this is a good thing for us.
A quick read of your post: I thought it said a safety (2 points) would win the game. LOL Unfortunately, I agreed with that. This will definitely result in a walk-on safety beating us at QB.
I know you are being sarcastic (I hope), but this team cannot take advantage of any opportunity that comes their way. They find ways to lose instead of finding ways to win.So, it sounds like we should definitely beat Iowa this year.
That is my view as well. He will be back and he will have a solid game against us. It is at night at Kinnick. We suck on both sides of the ball. We cannot beat any team with a pulse. There is a very low probability that we will win. I think our chances are much better against Wisconsin despite the QB uncertainty at IowaMcNamara will most likely be back and play lights out against us.

Fortunately McNamara can’t throw it further than 15 yards.100%. They will just constantly go after Gifford and Hartzog.
Unfortunately that's the sweet spot against our defense. That soft middle that results from 10 yard cushions by the secondary and a 4 man rush that doesn't get home.Fortunately McNamara can’t throw it further than 15 yards.
I can hear the groans of Kinnick now seeing McNamara hobble out to take snaps. Sucks for hawks as Sullivan brought some spark to the O and good vibes.*Brendan

I'll drink to that. If we somehow pull off a miracle against Wisconsin it might turn this whole season around. I know it wouldn't for a lot, but I can live with 6-7 wins for one more year.If they could pull off the last two I’ll STFU about Rhule(until next year).
same.If they could pull off the last two I’ll STFU about Rhule(until next year).
Thanks for stopping by for this 👍🏼*Brendan
They’ll be too one dimensional to give our defense fits if they trot him out there. It’s teams that can play action or rpo well that make our defense look like 5th graders.Fortunately McNamara can’t throw it further than 15 yards.
Kaleb Johnson out of the Wildcat for sure. Be curious how many minutes he gets against Maryland this weekend. He was no where to found when he was needed most in the 4 th quarter against UCLA.same.
20 should be enough to win this game.
i doubt they'll do anything we won't expect. they'll try to run Kaleb Johnson down our throats and force us to beat them through the air.
this is one where getting vertical for a score early in the game would be huge. have to force them to play keep-up
Then he turned the ball over 3 times against UCLA. Iowa and QB’s don’t mix lately.I can hear the groans of Kinnick now seeing McNamara hobble out to take snaps. Sucks for hawks as Sullivan brought some spark to the O and good vibes.
So they'll gain 20 yards every passFortunately McNamara can’t throw it further than 15 yards.
they'll just bide their time until we shit down our legssame.

We will win the last two.If they could pull off the last two I’ll STFU about Rhule(until next year).
I don't think it is/was "spouting off" rather than just realizing that if you have an offense built around a running QB, they are eventually going to get hurt. That line of thinking is there regardless of the team we are talking about.Iowa fans constantly spouting off about Nebraska’s QBs never making it to the end of the season due to crappy/soft OL play is hilarious with this development. Iowa fans I’ve come across are complete a$$hats on all things to do with Husker football, including the two Iowa dorks itt. Hawkeye fans are the worst in CFB and although I would never wish injury on a player, there is no amount of suffering that is enough for the horrible hawkeye fan base.
They will play the punter at QB and he will burn us for 300 yards passing. So, it sounds like we should definitely beat Iowa this year.
Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch and Turner Gill say hello.I don't think it is/was "spouting off" rather than just realizing that if you have an offense built around a running QB, they are eventually going to get hurt. That line of thinking is there regardless of the team we are talking about.
