I made this comment in the Tyjon thread but you have think it may apply generally.

The coaches and recruiting staff probably should focus some of their attention now on flipping any recruits they might want from schools that seem to have over recruited and may have more commits than they can handle within their scholarship limits. I'm sure there has to be some "processing" or reneging on offers previously made just to get their scholarship numbers in line. Perfect time to pounce.

We're also getting down to the "short strokes" for recruits that remain uncommitted. The uncommitted kids probably should start thinking about locking up their schools by committing. Even desirable schools like Ohio State, Michigan and Alabama are going to run out of room and start having to turn away some kids.

And all kids should start doubting the integrity of those schools that have a big numbers problems and regularly accept commitments for which they don't have enough scholarships. Think twice about if you really want to go there. If you get injured during your career you also may just get dumped or forced out to make room on the rosters for the next round of super recruits.
