Since Wilson bleeds red but vacations in green, does NU begin back-up plans for a 2nd QB
or stand on the sidelines while we get played? To me, this is essentially a formal de-commit
but with the stipulation he will continue to "consider" NU following his Oregon Trip. So seems to
me we should tell him we will begin our search for a 2nd QB with the stipulation we will continue
to "consider" him as to the process continues.
Don't get me wrong, I am NOT condemning his decision to do what is best for him. But I try
to live in reality and the reality of the situation for Nebraska is that his "commitment" has
been reduced to a reservation in case nothing else works out. So lets call this what it is
and let him know he remains on our radar and things may still work out but because recruiting
is being pushed up to the degree it has, we need to do exactly what he is doing and explore all
of our options.
