There are 13 new players (transfers, players returning after quitting) that seem to be good enough after spring practice to either start or be a member of a rotation for the team this fall.
How depressing is that. The fact that Frost left the team in such a mess that a coach could be hired at the start of December and find 13 new players (maybe more as the Freshmen develop) who are better than what we had returning for the rotation this fall.
If we had had open transfers at the end of 1994, I wonder how many transfers TO could have found who would have been good enough to unseat a projected starter on the 1995 team? Farley was the only new player who played at all in 1995.
