Who makes the greatest impact this next season? You get two choices. Choose wisely!

Ben Johnson - Could be McVay, could also be Josh McDaniels.

Mike Vrabel - Easily the best. This guy has always been an elite QB away from a SB run. If Maye develops into that guy, could happen. Wild to say that Vrabel makes the Patriots likeable.

Liam Coen - Feels like another Shane Steichen to me. I'm sure he'll be fine, but he sounds like he's running an Office Depot, not an NFL team.

Pete Carroll - Raiders will be respectable, but they're not winning anything important anytime soon. A primetime game against the Chiefs will still be their Superbowl.

Aaron Glenn - I just don't see it working. They'll be back on the coaching carousel in 2027.

Marty Schottenheimer's kid - lol

Voted for Vrabel because with a functional organization, he can easily take the Pats places. I think Carroll was a tremendous hire in Vegas though.
Carroll is intriguing to me. I know my brother is hoping he will be the messiah. Poor little guy has been a raiders fan all of his life... well since 1983 or so.

I live in Washington, but not really a Seahawk fan. I am hoping Pete does well with the Raiders. Seahawks GM John Schneider somehow managed to manipulate Jody Allen into letting go Pete. Jody is the sister of Paul Allen and has run the team since Paul's death. Schneider wouldn't even have a job if were not for Pete. Pete is the one who brought Schneider from Green Bay to Seattle. I believe for some reason Schneider no longer wanted to answer to Pete, so he mounted the insurrection to get Pete out. I believe despite hiring a good coach, Mike Macdonald, the Seahawks will become an utter mess under Schneider's leadership. It has already been reported that Schneider has overpaid several players and now the team will not be able to retain good players like WR Tyler Lockett. I can envision Lockett in a Black and Silver uniform someday. I do think one thing could hamper Pete's success in LV is I heard SI's Albert Breer, who I think is a very good reporter, say today he can see Russell Wilson being the Raiders Qb for a couple of years until they can acquire a young, talented quarterback. Russell wanted out of Seattle because he thought Pete was hindering his career. I think Russell is a self-absorbed schmuck with very little talent.

A lot is going to depend on how they fill out their coaching staffs. The Lions are replacing almost their entire staff. Detroit's coaching staff is splitting three ways plus the Patriots new DC is off the Lions staff as well.
