Even though Taylor hasn't played much other than special teams, this is where having treated your players right may pay off. You run off guys and piss off their coach and you don't get a shot at kids from that school anymore.Katy is a powerhouse school, would be great to build some inroads there. Same HS as Taylor

Yep. HS coaches spend a lot of time with these kids. If a kid gets “run off”, in many instances it’s not a surprise to them.I'm not so sure it works like that as much as you think.
No doubt it depends on WHY a kid gets processed. IF you run a guy like Taylor off who has done everything the right way but just got injured, well I don't think any high school coach worth his salt would like that. NU takes care of it's players and at the very least tries to be sure they get a marketable degree if things don't work out on the field.I'm not so sure it works like that as much as you think.
