Copeland didn't come here to play the 5 with his back to the basket. Jordy is going to have to step up his game and reduce the fouls to produce with 25-30 minutes of playing time if this team is to have any success at all.
1.G. WATSON/TRANSFER/TAYLOR
2. E. TAYLOR/ PALMER/GILL
3. ROBY/MCVEIGH/FRESMAN NANA?
4. TRANSFER/ ROBY/MCVEIGH
5. COPELAND/JORDY
OUCH WATCHA GOT?
Two questions:Palmer or Gill will start at the 2 position with Taylor coming off the bench. I also expect Copeland to play the 4.
Looking back on the season it's no wonder we absolutely sucked last year after starting 3-0 in the B1G. Morrow and Jacobson clearly didn't want to be here. Morrow's body language was pretty crappy all year (when he was on the court), and I made the same comment to a friend about Jacobson during the Michigan beat down. He 100% looked like he cashed it in.
I expect Miles to recapture his 2013/14 season with this group; and I'm only half kidding. There is talent here amongst the transfers and no reason not be expect some growth and maturity from Watson/McVeigh/Roby/Jordy. Will be interesting to see if Nana can contribute some or we luck into another 4/5 transfer. I keep telling myself that if Miles can coach up the Petteway/Pritchford rag-tag group of players into the dance he must have one more magic trick up his sleeve, yes?

Where can I score some of whatever you're smoking?
Blown patella tendon at the 2, herniated disk at the 4, foul prone 5. That is assuming Palmer gets his academics in order.
No depth at all. But with a toke of that ganja you have, maybe I will see things your way.
Ahhhh, now Morrow and Jacobson were loafing all season too.
Man...this is how it started out with the posters that loved Bo...
I do...but is that on them or is it on the "boss"? Clearly they were sold a bill of good to come to the school and clearly something changed. So was it them or the boss or both?Well yeah it's possible. I've been in careers before that were not a good situation for me and I knew I was leaving. After that realization, my level of effort sucked and I basically treaded water until I was done. You don't think that line of reasoning is possible with 20 year olds?
Fair enough my friend. I'm the eternal optimist - would love nothing more than to see a repeat of the 2013/14 season where Miles pulled an ace. I'm guessing you, like many others, gave that team 0% chance to do anything that year. Am I correct?
Can we agree, at least, that Season 3, Ep 1 of Better Call Saul was pretty damn good last night?
