Live up here (Wi) & have been to Madison many times . Barry did a great (good) job of instilling an attitude of playing hard , much like our T.O. did his first 20 years before FINALLY having that remarkable 5 year stretch . Now, comparing the two programs is comical (talking football here) . We have a national championship display showing 5 trophies ! Badgers have NONE . Actually we should have 7 ( '83 & '93 we were the best) . Badgers had Russell Wilson & still lost 3 games !!! The games we've lost to Wisconsin were not because they were good , but rather because WE were bad . My Badger friends up here would trade their program history (& trophy room) for ours in a second . They still look at my HUSKER stuff when over here for drinks & dinner . SO , you guys hold your head high , OK ? There , now I've vented for the day ! LOL P.S. this is response to all of the "wish we were like Wisconsin " remarks I've seen on here . Riley has it right (ground up rebuild).
