Nebraska vs Michigan kickoff set. Harbs self-imposing. Lol

Nobody wants to watch a team that is shaving points.
same people thumping their chests about this mighty (yet to be finalized) media deal now complaining about having to subscribe to yet another streaming service as the only way to watch their very prestigious conference's games

the B1G fan replies to that tweet are just delightful

2:30 p.m. Central at Michigan (abc)...vs noon at Nebraska (fox)

seems a lil to favor michigan..but not that much...

I'd like to see them get a holding call some year..

Just so I’m reading this correctly … I don’t have to purchase the stupid peacock streaming service to watch any Nebraska games, correct?

Maybe? Probably?

We won't know until the entire schedule is released. The way I understand it is they basically have a draft between the 3 networks for each weeks games. They are still drafting for some of the weeks.

this, as usual, is wrong.

FOX gets to dictate Tier 1 and BTN and FS1 games. every week, every year. they own the product.

the rest go to NBC/'cock (Tier 2) and then CBS (Tier 3).

Is the rest of the schedule out for us?
think so, but could be wrong

vs northwestern, vs purdue, @ sparty, vs maryland might still be up in the air, but thought I saw each would be broadcast

again, could be wrong. will check later.

I only see 5 games listed on huskermax with tv times. Plus this Michigan release.

Edit: but I could have missed something about all being broadcast.

Big 10 press release from last spring says some tv times and networks may not be released until 12 days ahead of the game. That's the ongoing "draft" I was referring to. I can't find anything stating that we will or won't have a game on Peacock.

using the term "draft" infers all available inventory is up for grabs, which is not the case

it's more of a plinko board for FOX's leftovers, as their ownership of B1G football rights gives them the right to pick first up to 12 days ahead of the game

it's why NBC/CBS are paying relative peanuts and why ESPN said thanks but no thanks

While some of you are laughing at this, recently that timeslot has been getting the biggest ratings by far. It is the most coveted tv spot on Saturdays now.

The Fox Sports website still has not assigned times for the week 5 games. On paper the best matchup that day appears to be LSU at Ole Miss.

If true our game is at noon, I'm upset. I have a buddy visiting who went to Michigan and was hoping for a night game. Its our own fault though. Beat MN, CU, take care of business on the next two and make Fox sorry for slating that game at noon.

Fox has the first and second pick of the draft. You are overthinking this to try and win an internet argument. The other teams still found a few good ones, like WVU vs. PSU or Black Friday vs. Iowa. I'm sure MSU vs. PSU at Ford Field will get good ratings. And I'm sure NBC was thrilled to put Michigan's opener on Peacock. Tons of 1 month subscriptions for Michigan fans. I doubt CBS is crying about having OSU's opener at Indiana.

This is great. This way when we beat Cheaterpants and Haussman’s traitor ass, their fans will have a whole day to cry while we have a whole day to rage! GBR!!!

Noon is FOX's big time slot. If we beat MN and CU than FOX will feel great, not sorry.

***FOX has the first, second and third picks of the six-pick draft***

I'm not overthinking it, I'm telling you the facts and you - as usual - are choosing to ignore them in favor something vague and other than

only the person constantly refuting the truth (you) is arguing

You are arguing over me using the term draft. Are you this hyper in real life or is this an internet tough guy thing?

You serious, Clark?

2022 TV game highest rating time slot by week:

Week 1 - 7:30
Week 2 - 12:00
Week 3 - 3:30
Week 4 - 3:30
Week 5 - 3:30
Week 6 - 8:00
Week 7 - 3:30
Week 8 - 12:00
Week 9 - 12:00
Week 10 - 3:30
Week 11 - 3:30
Week 12 - 3:30
Week 13 - 12:00 (michigan / ohio st...they could play that game at 3:00AM and it would still win the week)
Championship Week - 4:00
Post Season - 8:00

But, I mean, yeah, 3 out of 15 weeks, definitely by far the best ratings and most coveted.

All kidding aside, you're right that it's not as bad as some are making it out to be.
