Nebraska has been in contact with Kentucky four-star safety commit Martels Carter Jr., a top-100 prospect and the No. 7 safety in the country per Rivals, testing the waters to see if they can flip the Kentucky native away from the Wildcats. Vanderbilt and Auburn are also in the mix and he's been taking visits, so the door is potentially open for a flip, but the performance of Kentucky's defense this year has kept him locked in to his pledge thus far. Now, contradictory to some reports out there, while Nebraska is in touch and did try to get the four-star in town for a visit this weekend, he won't be able to make it because he and his family couldn't find a flight in. Huskers very well could get him in for the Wisconsin game later in Nov. and depending on how serious the chances of a flip are, it wouldn't be surprising to see the staff stop by and see him during the bye next week
