Basketball Nebraska set to host Southern in non-conference action

According to Made For March, Nebraska will host the Southern Jaguars on Dec. 30 and pay the SWAC team $105,000.



Last week, it was reported Nebraska would host North Florida for a non-con game as well, but I haven't seen a date yet.

In Kevin Johnson's first season at the helm of Southern last season, the Jags went 18-14 overall and 12-6 in conference play.

Here are Southern's overall and conference records the past five seasons:
2023-24: 18-14 (12-6)
2022-23: 15-17 (11-7)
2021-22: 17-14 (11-6)
2020-21: 8-11 (8-6)
2019-20: 17-15 (13-5)
