When we hired Riley everyone said we've never heard of him, but he's nice. Recent recruits say that, among other things, they were impressed about how nice everyone was. When Riley made his first appearance people said "well, at lest he's nice" like it was something we didn't have with Bo. A number of my friends close to the University said Harvey was dead set on getting rid of Bo to get someone who was more like the people of Nebraska "nice". It seems to me like there were many of my friends who wanted to get rid of Bo, but they can't come to grips with the nice thing. Of course they are the same people who wanted Frank gone and then bitched about how it was done, like there is some easy way to fire someone.
Anyway, I think being nice is great. Osborne is a very nice man and he did OK.
