And it got me thinking:
Nebraska hasn't had all that much success in our most beloved sport, but we have numerous athletes going on and doing tremendous things. I can't imagine many schools stacking up, across the board, with the amount of success our athletes in all sports have after their eligibility runs out.
Suh and Lavonte David were both the highest paid players at their respective positions (Suh was the highest paid defender in history).
Jordan Burroughs; world champ, Olympic champ. Best in history?
Manning; Olympic wrestling coach.
Tyronn Lue won an NBA Championship as a player and coach.
4 or 5 volleyball players in the Olympics with Pavan being one of the GOAT.
Alex Gordon bringing together KC for the World Series and clutch hitting in that series.
